Whitney Houston’s Funeral

19 Feb

The late Whitney Houston’s funeral mass was held yesterday, February 18th, in Newark, N.J. The ceremony lasted close to four hours, with many stars who showed up to pay their respects including: L.A Reid, Spike Lee, Kevin Costner, Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder, and the list goes on…

The videos of the speakers, as well as the performers are all over the internet and television today as I’m sure many of you have seen; therefore I’ve decided to just post one. The video I chose to post is from the end of the ceremony. The song Whitney Houston was made most famous for ‘I Will Always Love You’ is played as her casket is carried out. In this video you can clearly see Whitney’s on-and-off again boyfriend Ray J (who was accompanied by his sister Brandy) break down as he touches the casket. Him and Whitney were last seen publicly together February 3rd dining on Sunset Blvd.

The casket is said to be buried today in a private ceremony where the iconic singers family will have a chance to say their final good-byes. RIP Whitney Houston.
