Many people are starting to stress about getting in shape for the summer season (aka- bikini season). Well, Emma Stone isn’t one of those people. I’m sure even at her biggest, she is smaller than most of us, but it’s all about being comfortable with who you are. In a recent interview with England’s ‘S Magazine’ she stated, “I’m not gonna go parading around in a bikini. OK, I did that in a photo shoot once, but it’s about what you’re comfortable with at the time you’re comfortable with it. That was a good day, but you won’t hear me saying I have no body issues because I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t.” Stone recently had to put on some pounds for her character in the film ‘The Help’. She stated about that “Suddenly nothing fitted me, but then they have such delicious food in the South and I don’t believe in depriving yourself.”

Another example of a healthy Hollywood actress is Sophia Bush. To quote her character on One Tree Hill, Brooke Davis, “0 is not a size”. Bush is still small at a size 4, but she is healthy. In an interview with Health Magazine a while back, she stated “for me, fitness isn’t about wanting to be rated with Jessica Alba on the “Hot 100” list. I want to be able to hike the mountains of California with my grandkids.”

Hollywood is filled with so many unrealistic and unhealthy body images. It is awful the pressure many of us feel from it. As long as you feel healthy, and happy, that’s what matters. So for those of you feeling the pressure of bikini season, remember that stress also aids to weight gain, so don’t stress! Work out a healthy amount, eat healthy, but also don’t be afraid to indulge! When you go to a restaurant and they put the bread down in front of you, for goodness sake instead of sitting there stressing whether or not you should have a piece, just eat the bread! You are way more beautiful when you are happy. So be confident in those curves, confidence is what makes us beautiful!
